Joe rolled the drivers window down yesterday, and it wouldn't go back up! so we spent this morning taping on a clear shower curtain as a temporary fix. He has to drive to work Sunday & Monday, and can't get the car in until Monday afternoon. Bad luck just as the snow rolls in.

2.6.Backlight - Mari

The prompt today "backlight" held a lot of promise, and I had good intentions of using natural light to get this one.

I took this as I arrived in the school parking lot, using the HDR setting on the iPhone camera. Glad I took this one early, because shortly after this, it clouded over here, and we've been overcast all day. "They" say it is supposed to snow tonight.

I have a student who has rooted his PSP, he keeps telling about all the apps he's put on it, not sure I understand why you would root a PSP, but that's okay. Today he was showing me this app that creates music.

2.3.Pop of Red - Mari

Okay, I think issues with the Eye-Fi card are fixed, and I'm pretty certain they are user errors!  So today's prompt "A Pop of Red", I had to set this one up.  But I just got a macro lens adapter - can't opt for a real macro lens at this point, but a $12 adapter is in the budget.  Today's "Pop of Red" gave me the opportunity to play with that a bit.

2-2 Reflection - Mari

Okay no posts for a few days, I'm having technical issues with my Eye-Fi card, and I need to reformat it and start over, no time until later today or tomorrow.

In preparation for our 96 mile hike in Scotland, starting June 5, we walked about 6.5 miles in town today.  3.25 from our house to Olde Town Arvada, and the Arvada Beer Company.

While there we enjoyed the following:  Water Tower Wheat (Mari) and Barrel Aged Ale (Joe), as well as some frites from the Mannekin Frites next door.  It is a great setup, Arvada Beer, doesn't serve any food, but there are several restaurants in the vicinity that will deliver to your table!  The photo of the Barrel Aged Ale was better with the camera, and the Wheat was better with the phone.  Go figure!
